Jim Taylor founded the company in 2000 to provide Geology, Hydrogeology and Environmental Services to a growing base of preferred clients. Andrew Sokol joined the firm in 2004, solidifying core environmental and geologic practices while expanding us in to the solid waste and landfill services. Michael Napolitan soon followed, bringing his geology know how and advanced technical edge to the team. TGS is now a team of geologists, scientists, licensed professionals, managers, individuals, family members, members of the community, highly experienced, youthful ideas, and everything in between. Our leadership and proactive approach empowers us all to be client-focused, responsive, creative, and accountable to our clients, our peers, our organization.

TGS’s Principals and Senior Staff have been working in the environmental and geoscience fields since the mid 1980’s. Old school work ethic is passed down to enthusiastic talent, and fresh ideas are passed up to seasoned experiences. While geology may be our core, each new team member brings their unique skill set.
