COMPANY HISTORY

Taylor GeoServices was started in 2000 by Jim Taylor to provide Geology, Hydrogeology and Environmental Services to its specialty clients.

Since its inception, the company has experienced steady growth.  In 2004, Andy Sokol joined the firm to both solidify and expand its capabilities even further.  TGS now employs a group of professional geologists, engineers, scientists and associates, many of whom have been working in the environmental and geoscience fields since the mid 1980’s.  We believe that our team of professionals with their extensive experience in the industry provides a significant competitive advantage for our clients.

From the beginning, our knowledge, commitment and responsiveness has allowed Taylor GeoServices to maintain long term working relations with many repeat clients.  These same aspects have also produced a reputation and quality of service that attracts and maintains our many new clients.  Our expertise includes numerous disciplines in environmental services, hydrogeology, land planning and watershed management.  In 2007 we began to offer geotechnical engineering capabilities as we continue to grow and expand our services in order to benefit our clientele.

From our corporate office in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area, along with our satellite and associate's offices in the York/Gettysburg, Scranton/Wilke-Barre and Pittsburgh regions, Taylor GeoServices can assist with projects in the Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic region, as well as nationally.
